Visit the showtime of the past and think of the days that walls bulged in Swimming Baths.  The Lidos came into their own.  People flocked from everywhere.

Aqua Shows were very popular and were a frequent feature in the heydays of the 30s/ 40s /50s.  These were the days just prior and following the black days of World War II.

These “Jewels in the Sun” contributed to the  much needed colourful spectacles that brought sunshine into lives following the grim days of battle.

Book tickets for a wonderful beautiful and spectacular Aqua Show starring Belita and Johnny Weissmuller.

The Show that has everything!  including the “Aquabats Aquacade” with “Spectacular Fire Dives” and the “Dannillys Trampoline Act.

It was the talk of the town,  brightening  the country,    lingering in the shadows of dark days of war.  Visit Earls Court and see the 60m x 30m giant swimming pool which was built in 1935.   Used until recently for the prestigious Annual Boat Show.
NB Earl Court Exhibition Centre has now been demolished  in preparation for housing development 2020.

Hire Bob Bradbourne,  the Canadian Lumber Jack,  and World’s Champion Log Roller – the sensation of the century.

World champion log roller Bob Bradbourne shows off his skill in Bournemouth’s indoor swimming pool.  He is joined by Monica Gillot, Great Britain’s Lady Champion of burling. Veronica Smeed, Monica’s daughter, told the Gaurdian that Bob and Monica had a whirlwind romance after this meeting, married at Gretna Green, and went on a log-rolling tour of Britain’s coastal towns.

Has great comedy success at swimming galas and aqua shows.
Performances given on rivers,  boating lakes,  open air and covered baths.
