Albatross History-2-1978. Albatross has hatched. Diving to success.

The number of divers had increased considerably by now and the goal will be for these squads, just as when diving in their Red colours, to train and aim for competitions in their green colours. County;  Southern Counties and National levels will be the divers’ targets.  Also to be placed onto development programmes.  Just the same as before…but now,  in their new club colours of Green and White,  they will be recognised as “Albatross Diving Club of Reading.”
At that point in  time ,  beautiful Badges were being embroidered – the  design of which we had to thank Mr Derek Seward.  The Badge has taken the Club through to today… another 43 years .  The club has celebrated it’s Ruby Anniversary year plus.
