It was a very progressive period. The Council Courses , introduced by self for two years were instrumental in that any diver who passed a certain level of standard, were invited to join the Club on a trial basis.
After two years, new diving teachers in the Club, who were willing to give up their time, continued holding the Courses. They have carried through until today 2018.
