Albatross History-2-1980. The year the Club Captain(s) were elected
No escape from the technological age this moment in time. Demonstrations of video recorders to help the training of the divers was in the forefront of the Albatross Clubs mind. There is nothing like a diver to see themselves dive perfectly!
This was the year that the Club Captains were introduced. The divers cast their votes at the AGM and Caroline Knolly was elected Girls Captain and Andrew Parsons the Boys Captain. Two very worthy recipients for these positions. They would lead the divers down the correct “boards.”
