Albatross History-4-1979 A cheery nice picture of the Albatross Diving Squad with more new faces. Andrew Parsons who has grown. Brian Wilson; Joy Davies; Ewan Meek- eventual Boys Captain. Claire Richardson (top pic) joined the squad, with petite Robyn Absolom (top pic). Little Hayley Johnson (top pic) became a lovely plain diver and eventually won titles at Southern Counties. Malcolm Green joined in. He was about to perform a good plain header.
Malcolm was to eventually to take the lead in the club and become the Chief Coach a few years later. He remains so until this day – second generation. But for now he was quietly learning in the background and on poolside with other learner teachers.
